End of National Grid incentive for parking lot solar canopies sparks concerns

As I've talked with neighbors, many are interested in solar energy for their homes - and are also concerned that forests across the state are being clear cut.

Many of our programs for clean energy are actually guided by state laws. I have been active in advocating for strong & thoughtful clean energy laws in Rhode Island and Providence for many years.

Check out my comments in this Providence Business News article about the need for strong laws to guide solar development to previously disturbed sites and rooftops & the legislation I've partnered on to do just that.
